NET NEUTRALITY

We have Right to Equality as our Fundamental Constitutional right. We have this fundamental right to protect our rights. We should be treated equal in terms of Law, Employment, socially and publically. We enjoy our freedom due to such rights. But just imagine, tomorrow when you wake up, suddenly one of it is gone. Just like you are robbed of your basic rights as a citizen of a nation. Horrifying? Isn’t it? But that’s not what we are going to discuss right now.

Right now, not physical but our virtual world is facing such situation. We live in a time where each and every one of has a separate virtual life on Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp. Also we have our Virtual market as in Flipkart, Amazon, EBay and many more.

Imagine a day when you have to struggle to keep up with one of it. You are suffering to access one of your favorite sites. The Government is thinking about abandoning with net neutrality. This will directly have wrong effect on your daily online activities. You won’t be able to enjoy the virtual freedom.

If Net Neutrality is gone, the Big-Buck-Sites will exploit this to favor the traffic on their sites. It will be difficult to access the other sites. You will have to pay according to the traffic of the site to access it. One internet plan will not give you everything you are looking for. Internet service providers will take advantage of it. They will charge you more for things you need. You will have to think before spending on the plans unlike now, where everything is accessible for the same money.

Also, you will have to spend more to access the some data compared to the current situation where you are free to access whatever data you are looking for. There are many more drawbacks if net neutrality is not there. Owners will pay more to make their sites access faster than their rival’s page. Also there will be virtual war between the giants to move the online traffic towards their page by all wrong means possible.

We have always stood united for many causes. This time we have not to stand for anyone or anybody else, we have to stand for our own rights. People come down on roads in numbers to fight for the rights, now such a fight is ON on internet. Right to net neutrality is very important and we will have it.
