"I was sitting at a coffee stall with one of my friend in the evening. After few minutes, 3 policeman came and started holding off people without helmets. We sat there around 20 Minutes and kept observing the whole scene. Many people took U-turn, many stopped the vehicle and wore their helmets before crossing and like expected, many got caught. But one thing, like we see at most of places, they weren't stopping female commuters. After a while, we got curious that why don't they catch girls and ladies. We decided that we should ask them about this. Initially, we went back but somehow we managed to finally talk with one of the policeman. my friend ask him," we came here to have coffee, and we noticed you people holding people without helmets. but one thing that made us curious is that you people don't stop any female passing by on vehicle. why so?"
Soon the one we were talking with told us that they have orders not to stop females. we felt like what kind of order is this? Traffic rules don't apply to girls?
overhearing his reply, the police man standing next to us came towards us and told us that," We don't stop girls not because we have orders. But, We don't stop them because we are humans, We feel its our responsibility to make them feel safe&secure and see that no problem is caused to them in traffic"
